At FBI Headquarters, Darren was entrusted with the management of national-level cyber and counterintelligence programs. His work at this level involved not only directing domestic operations but also fostering crucial relationships with foreign partners. Darren’s efforts in building these international collaborations were key to addressing and mitigating threats that transcended borders, ensuring a coordinated global response to cyber and counterintelligence challenges.

In 2011, Darren’s innovative approach to cybersecurity was showcased when he launched the FBI’s first national program that integrated counterintelligence with cyber operations. This groundbreaking initiative was specifically designed to combat the growing threat posed by nation-state cyber actors, setting a new benchmark for how federal agencies approach complex cyber threats.

Darren's extensive experience is further supported by a robust educational foundation. He earned a Master of Professional Studies in Cybersecurity Policy and Risk Analysis from Utica College in 2018, adding to his foundational Education Master’s Degree from SUNY Potsdam. This academic background, combined with his hands-on experience, enables Darren to translate complex cybersecurity concepts into actionable strategies for diverse audiences.
